Submitting to JMRI

How do I go about getting these approved and into the next release?

If you're happy with them, you can contribute them to the next release by creating a "Patch" for the project.

To do this:

If you have a SourceForge account (they're free!), log on.
If not, don't worry about it. Go to the patch web site on SourceForge:
Click on "Add new artifact" near the center-left of the screen.
On the new page that comes up, enter something in the following fields:
1. Summary (This is really the title)
2. Detailed Description (Just a little more info)
3. If you don't have a SourceForge account, make sure to put your name and email address in the Detailed Description field so we know who to thank!
Check the box labelled Check to Upload and Attach a File underneath the description text box.
Click choose file, and navigate to a copy of the file on your computer. (You can do this more than once if you've got multiple files)
Click submit. This way, nothing gets lost, and we've got a trail of what was contributed when.
