How do I go about getting these approved and into the next release?
If you're happy with them, you can contribute them to the next release by creating a "Patch" for the project.
To do this:
- If you have a SourceForge account (they're free!), log on.
If not, don't worry about it. Go to the patch web site on SourceForge:
- Click on "Add new artifact" near the center-left of the screen.
- On the new page that comes up, enter something in the following fields:
- Summary (This is really the title)
- Detailed Description (Just a little more info)
- If you don't have a SourceForge account, make sure to put your name and email address in the Detailed Description field so we know who to thank!
- Check the box labelled Check to Upload and Attach a File underneath the description text box.
- Click choose file, and navigate to a copy of the file on your computer. (You can do this more than once if you've got multiple files)
- Click submit. This way, nothing gets lost, and we've got a trail of what was contributed when.
